Mindfulness-Based Coaching

Rooted in the science of the mind, body, & brain

You've Done the Work.
But Something Still Feels Out of Sync.

You’ve read the books. Listened to podcasts. Dipped in and out of mindfulness practice —
maybe even sat across from a therapist.

And still your habits, thoughts, and self-talk keep pulling you into the same, old patterns. You struggle because knowing isn’t the same as doing.

Calma Coaching bridges this gap.

We take the insights you already have and turn them into embodied change without grind culture, toxic positivity, or pressure to be perfect.

Mindfulness-Based Coaching

Awareness as the foundation for change

Coaching at Calma helps you move from mental noise and reactivity toward greater clarity, steadiness, and intentional action.

Rather than focusing only on goals or productivity, we work directly with attention, emotional patterns, habits, and the nervous system — helping you respond more consciously in everyday life.

Habit Change Coaching

If you’ve tried to change a habit before, you know willpower alone rarely creates lasting change.

Drawing from mindfulness, neuroscience, and behavioral science, we explore the trigger → behavior → reward loop that keeps habits stuck.

Together, we learn to interrupt autopilot patterns with curiosity rather than force.

This work supports both emotional habits (self-criticism, avoidance, overthinking) and behavioral habits (procrastination, overworking, emotional eating, compulsive phone use).

Over time, small mindful shifts become sustainable change.

What makes Calma coaching unique

This isn’t surface-level work. It’s research-informed, present-moment coaching grounded in over 15 years of mindfulness teaching and practice.

Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of people in high-pressure environments — from Fortune 500 organizations and federal agencies to hospitals and nonprofits — through practices that reduce stress, sharpen focus, and build resilience.

As a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher through Brown University, I integrate mindfulness with neuroscience-based habit change models developed by Dr. Judson Brewer.

The result is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps people create lasting change with greater awareness, clarity, and self-compassion.
