Mindfulness-
Based Coaching
Rooted in the science of the mind, body, & brain
You've Done the Work.
But Something Still Feels Out of Sync.
You’ve read the books. Listened to podcasts. Dipped in and out of mindfulness practice —
maybe even sat across from a therapist.
And still your habits, thoughts, and self-talk keep pulling you into the same, old patterns. You struggle because knowing isn’t the same as doing.
Calma Coaching bridges this gap.
We take the insights you already have and turn them into embodied change without grind culture, toxic positivity, or pressure to be perfect.

My mindfulness teaching is informed by over a decade and a half of real-world instruction in corporate boardrooms, hospital wards, and community programs combined with formal MBSR training at Brown University. This is mindfulness you can apply immediately, not theory that stays on the page. We’ll use evidence-based techniques to help you slow down your mental processes, tune in to your body’s cues, and create space between stimulus and response. You’ll leave each session with practical, accessible practices you can use in daily life whether that’s during a work presentation, a tense family conversation, or your morning commute.

If you've tried to break a habit before, you know willpower alone doesn't work and doesn't last. Our habit change coaching blends neuroscience, mindfulness, ond behavioral science to create lasting shifts without burnout or self blame.
As a student and Facilitator-in-Training of Dr. Judson Brewer's habit change model, I help you map the triggers and rewards that keep your habits stuck and use curiosity not force to dismantle them. Together, we replace autopilot responses with intentional choices aligned with your values.
This approach works for both emotional habits (self-criticism, avoidance) and behavioral habits (procrastination, overworking, overeating). We’ll look at the complete habit loop trigger, behavior, reward and rewire it at the brain level. You’ll learn to spot the earliest signs of a habit cycle starting, interrupt it with mindful awareness, and introduce alternatives that feel more rewarding. Over time, these micro-shifts build into lasting, sustainable change.

This isn’t surface-level work. It’s deep, research-informed, present-moment coaching, grounded in over 15 years of mindfulness teaching. Over the years, I’ve guided thousands of people in high-pressure environments—from Fortune 500 boardrooms and federal agencies to hospitals and nonprofits—through practices that reduce stress, sharpen focus, and build lasting resilience.
As a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher through Brown University’s School of Public Health, I bring advanced training in Dr. Judson Brewer’s neuroscience-based habit change model. This blend of rigorous science and lived practice ensures that the tools we use are not only practical but also effective.
Let's Begin Together
