You're Doing Everything Right. But Something Still Feels Off.

Maybe you're holding it all together on the outside — but inside, your mind won't stop racing. Your sleep is off. Your body won't settle. You're replaying the past, dreading the future, and second-guessing yourself in the present.

You've pulled back from your partner, your friends, maybe even from yourself. This isn't a breakdown. It's a signal. That something in you is ready to shift.

Calma Therapy offers a different way forward.

A space to slow down, get honest, and move through what's hard. Not by fixing it but by facing it. With presence. With clarity. With professional support.

Is ThisYou?

My clients are often outwardly successful but inwardly overwhelmed. They're thinkers, leaders, creatives, and caregivers. Often the strong, quiet ones in the room.

and authenticity - you're welcome here.

Questions You Might
Be Asking

  • Calm, collaborative, grounded. I won’t push you into quick fixes. I help you notice what’s actually happening, develop emotional clarity, and shift patterns that no longer serve you.

  • No. While I specialize in men’s mental health issues, I welcome all adults who resonate with this mindfulness-informed approach to therapy.

  • If you live in North Carolina or Texas, Calma Online provides licensed therapy via telehealth. If you’re located elsewhere, you may be able to work with me through Calma Coaching, which offers mindfulness-based support and skills for growth.

  • Not at all. You’re welcome here whether or not you’ve been diagnosed. We’ll work with what’s real — not just what fits in a box.

  • Weekly to begin. We can adjust over time based on your needs and goals

  • It’s a thoughtful, structured conversation. We explore your current concerns, background, and intentions for therapy.

  • Calma Therapy is experiential, not just conversational. I use evidence-based approaches that work with the nervous system, attention, and behavior — not just analysis

  • Therapy helps you connect with what’s already inside — without being overwhelmed by it. Together, we’ll build the ability to notice, regulate, and respond with clarity.

  • Sometimes — but only if it feels helpful for you. My approach to mindfulness isn’t about long 30-minute sits unless that’s something you want. Instead, I focus on short, practical “micro-practices” you can weave into your day — a few breaths before a meeting, noticing tension in your shoulders, or pausing when emotions run high. These moments of awareness build clarity and steadiness without adding pressure. Together, we’ll use mindfulness as a flexible tool to support your goals, not as a rigid requirement.

  • I do not offer therapy to children, couples, or those in acute crisis. If you need more intensive or in-person care, I’ll help you find the right fit.
