Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the gold-standard, evidence-based program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. For over four decades, MBSR has helped people reduce stress, improve focus, and live with greater presence and resilience. 


Led by a Qualified MBSR Instructor trained at Brown University, this live online course combines mindfulness meditation, body awareness, gentle yoga, and group inquiry to help you relate to stress with more clarity and less reactivity.

Who It’s For

Anyone who feels caught in the cycle of anxiety whether it shows up as overthinking, avoidance, constant “what if” spirals, or stress you feel in your body before you even know why. You may notice that you reach for distractions (phone, food, social media) or avoid certain tasks as a way to cope, only to find yourself in the same loop again. If you’re open to a science-backed, mindfulness-based path for change, this group is designed for you.

What to Expect

Each 60-minute weekly session includes

Orientation (1.5 – 2 hours): A live welcome session to introduce the program, set expectations, and guide you through a short mindfulness practice before Week 1.

8 Weekly Sessions (2.5 hours each): Each week builds on the last, exploring core themes such as body awareness, perception, mindful movement, working with stress, and sustaining practice.

Full Day Silent Retreat (6 – 7 hours): Between Weeks 6 and 7, this immersive day includes extended periods of meditation, mindful movement, and reflection in silence.

Home Practice: 30 – 45 minutes of daily formal mindfulness practice, plus informal mindfulness during everyday activities.

Materials: Audio meditations, written guides, and weekly reflection prompts included.

Weekly sessions: 8 × 2.5 hours

Silent Retreat: One full day (online)

CEUs: Available for licensed professionals
